Hello dear visitor! My name is Marie Sokolova and I was born in Donetsk, Ukraine on June 12, 2002 with a passion for art.
My real story begins less than two years after that date, when I first picked up my pen and started drawing my way through life. About five years later, my family moved to USA, Greenwich, CT, where I have been living to this day with my family – dad Michael, mom Kateryna, brothers Sasha (15 y/o) and Mishka (6 y/o), and our furry friend Luke.

When I was a child I participated in many art competitions, such as the online “All Kids Can Create”, “Side Walk Art Show” in Old Greenwich, CT, and “Doodle 4 Google”.

Throughout my teen years I found several ways to use my skills. I have a small greeting card and painting business. I sold two paintings - “Iris,” my original, and “Fur coat,” which was inspired by artist Susan Bauer whose art is featured in The Drawing Room in Cos Cob, CT.

I love art, but it is not my only interest. I play piano and violin and I enjoy math and science, particularly chemistry. In the future I want to use my creativity and my interest in STEM to pursue a career in Engineering.
